IMPORTANT must read & always remember

Though Malaysia is not within the earthquake zone, you may be staying in a different country when an earthquake strikes. This lesson is important. It was first proposed by Doug Copp - the Rescue Chief and Disaster M ana ger of the American Rescue Team International (ARTI), the world's most experienced rescue team.
He had crawled inside 875 collapsed buildings, worked with rescue teams from 60 countries, founded rescue teams in several countries, and he is a member of many rescue teams from many countries. He was the United Nations expert in Disaster Mitigation (UNX051 -UNIENET) for two years.  He have worked at every major disaster in the world since 1985, except for simultaneous disasters.

His theory has been successfully proven. When an earthquake occurs and you happen to stay in a hotel, find a triangle of life near the outer walls of the hotel. That way, when they start digging, the chances are they will get to you first. You don't want to be buried in the middle of a rubble heap.
